The Young Adults class provides BCOC’s growing population of twenty- and thirty-somethings in student or career mode with a platform for asking questions. “Who am I?” “Who is God?” “Why do my answers to these questions matter?”
The class meets at 10:30 a.m. every second and fourth Sunday in the BMMC in Room 104 of the BMMC.
30/30 BIBLE STUDY
Young Adult weekly bible study, unofficially dubbed 30/30, is at 6:30 pm on Mondays hosted at Sarah Scarborough and Megan Mitchell's home! The group is made up of young adults in college and Post-Bac. young professionals (the 20 somethings!). We try to stick with 30 minutes or so of dinner and social time followed by 30 minutes of discussion over a topic. Currently we are reading through Crazy Love by Francis Chan. We cover one chapter per week. It is a very easy book for people to drop in on as each chapter covers different topics. Anyone interested can reach out to Sarah and Megan via email for information and details.
Annually BCOC's Young Adults venture out of Birmingham for a weekend of fellowship of reflection. This past March, Taylor Bell and fifteen members spent an early spring weekend at Lake Martin.
